(Liberty Bell) – Ever since Barack Obama became president back in 2008, we’ve been hearing non-stop how racist the Republican Party is and how Democrats are the party of inclusivity, fighters for equality and social justice who will right all the wrongs of society when it comes to racial issues and prejudice.
Well, a report from Big League Politics is revealing that the Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, a black Republican, is being slammed by Democrats who are comparing him to the Ku Klux Klan. So much for tolerance and inclusivity, right? Comparing a black man to a notorious racist organization, which was founded by the Democratic Party by the way, is the epitome of deplorable.
So what, exactly did Robinson do that has Democrats so up in arms? He opposed the Marxist anti-white educational standards the state legislature was trying to pass. Yes, that’s right. A man comes along who has a darker shade of skin and believes that we shouldn’t be judged by our race, and he gets punished for it.
The hypocrisy is so thick it’s unreal.
WRAL published a really offensive and extremely racist editorial cartoon that shows what Democrats think of a black man who actually tries to think for himself.

There has been a lot of backlash for this post and every bit of it is well deserved.

Wow. I thought WRAL couldn't sink any lower. This is shameful in so many ways. Calling GOP the KKK for not wanting to include race-based ideologies in the educational curriculum?

Ridiculous and offensive.

Facts be damned! No matter that the KKK was founded by Democrats, and the Democrat party was the party of slavery and racial subjugation, friendly to the KKK even up through the 20th century – e.g., the 'revered' Senator Robert Byrd. pic.twitter.com/qZRb64sh5a

Is anyone else getting tired of the "I disagree so you're racist" trope?
It's tiring, at least put some imagination (or even a compelling argument) into it once in a while.
It's aimed at low IQ twitter mob.

It should be obvious here that the Democratic Party is trying to shift this whole thing to a racial issue — which is their go-to move — because they know if they actually allow their education curriculum to be put under scrutiny it wouldn’t stand up. People would clearly see it’s nothing more than propaganda to brainwash kids into hating their country, the founding fathers, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution.
Lt. Gov. Robinson actually addressed the cartoon during a press conference, saying, “What I want to talk about here today is not about opinions. It’s about who people say they are and who they prove themselves to be and the hypocrisy thereof.”
“Now here we are, second day of Black History Month, one day removed from television stations, newspapers and other mediums celebrating February 1, down in my hometown of Greensboro, where people took a stand against racism and bigotry,” he added.
“And on the second day of Black History Month, the 2nd, the first black Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina has been portrayed as such by one of the largest news outlets in the state. Now, this is not a private individual. This is not somebody’s Facebook page. This is a newspaper that goes out to millions of readers,” Robinson stated.
Robinson then went on to make it clear he’s a big supporter of the First Amendment and does not support any government policies to censor WRAL for the cartoon. But he also said that he thinks the news outlet deserves to be shamed for posting it up.
“I have proven exactly who they are. That cartoon doesn’t really bother me. What bothers me is the hypocrisy behind it,” Robinson said.
“This office is not going to stand by and let it go by, and I’m not going to go along to get along. I’m going to call them out every time,” he went on to say.
This kind of hypocrisy needs to be called out and dealt with. It’s not something we can just ignore. These frauds need to be exposed for who they really are and held accountable for their actions in the court of public opinion.
