(Liberty Bell) – It must be nice to be a privileged Democrat who doesn’t have to put up with insanity like pre-dawn raids and coup attempts against your office, things the left has all done — and continues to do — against President Trump. Instead, when a liberal gets caught with their hand in the cookie jar, they get treated with kid gloves and folks go out of their way to defend even the most heinous of individuals, simply because they believe the right set of doctrine.
Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein is getting to enjoy these very same privileges right now as the FBI has oh so politely asked her to provide for them documents concerning her husband’s investments. This comes in light of the news that broke in March where numerous Republican senators such as Richard Burr, Kelly Loeffler, Ron Johnson, and Jim Inhofe sold significant stock shares after a January 24th meeting about the threat of the coronavirus.
It turns out that it wasn’t only Republicans involved, however.
Feinstein was also connected to this whole fiasco.
Here’s more from Gateway Pundit:
Feinstein’s husband, Richard Blum sold his shares in Allogene Therapeutics Inc, a biotech company, and made between $1.5 million and $6 million before the Coronavirus stock market spiral.
Here's a sale about the same time by Sen. Dianne Feinstein D-CA. In terms of price, Allogene Therapeutics was around $22/share for that sale. It's now $20.29/share. pic.twitter.com/FIEjfKlTLe

According to Feinstein’s spox, the Democrat Senator voluntarily turned over documents to the FBI and answered questions about her husband’s stock transactions.
FBI asks Feinstein for documents about her husband’s stock trades. “Senator Feinstein was asked some basic questions by law enforcement about her husband’s stock transactions, as I think all offices in the initial story were,” spox says.

As you can probably already guess, Feinstein has claimed that she isn’t involved with her husband’s stock trades.
Whether that is true or not is hardly the point here. What really gets the old goat as they say is the fact that the Democrats involved in this situation are receiving far better treatment than Republicans. Granted, this comes as no surprise, but it’s still maddening. There’s a huge discrepancy between how liberals treat conservatives and the message they so often preach about tolerance. It’s hypocrisy at its finest.
Here’s more on this story from Fox News:
“Senator Feinstein was asked some basic questions by law enforcement about her husband’s stock transactions, as I think all offices in the initial story were,” a spokesman for the California Democrat told Fox News on Thursday.
“She was happy to voluntarily answer those questions to set the record straight and provided additional documents to show she had no involvement in her husband’s transactions,” the spokesman said. “There have been no follow up actions on this issue.”
Earlier this year, reports had said Feinstein, who is the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and her husband sold between $1.5 million and $6 million in stock in California biotech company Allogene Therapeutics, between Jan. 31 and Feb. 18.
But a spokesman for Feinstein at the time denied any wrongdoing and indicated the sales involved the senator’s husband, saying that “all of Senator Feinstein’s assets are in a blind trust” and “she has no involvement in her husband’s financial decisions.”
Meanwhile, an investigation has intensified into stock sales made by Republican Sen. Richard Burr during the early stages of the coronavirus outbreak.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Thursday that Burr would step aside as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee amid the probe.
See? For conservatives, there is always consequences for their actions. We actually hold our people accountable for the unsavory behavior they get caught in, trying to do our best to live in accordance with the principles we espouse. That’s critical for lending credibility and authenticity to what we say we believe in.
Let’s hope a little of that rubs off on Democrats.
