(Liberty Bell) – The Supreme Court of the United States is once again standing against the interest of the American people.
This time around, they’re siding with the Biden administration’s open-borders immigration policy.
The high court has dismissed three pending requests from “sanctuary states” to hear challenges to the Trump administration’s order that had withheld federal tax dollars from their localities, as Infowars reports.
The online organization SCOTUSblog, which monitors the court’s actions, tweeted:
“After a request from the Biden administration yesterday, the Supreme Court just dismissed three pending cert petitions (requests to hear a case) about the Trump administration’s effort to withhold money from so-called sanctuary cities.”

In a 2017 executive order, President Trump had called on law enforcement and other federal agencies to withhold federal funds from so-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions.
It must be noted, of course, that the vast majority of these jurisdictions are governed by—you guessed it!—Democrats.
While the Trump policy had made federal taxpayer dollars to state and local governments subject to the condition that a locality cooperate with US immigration officials as they carried out their responsibilities to uphold federal law.
Before attorneys from a number of sanctuary localities brought their action before the Supreme Court, they had found lower courts largely split on the legality of the Trump policy.
When President Biden entered office, he immediately set about undermining Trump’s extensive efforts to secure our border and protect everyday Americans and migrants as well from the dangerous and criminal human, drug, and weapons smuggling.
It was his decision to revoke the sanctuary jurisdiction order that rendered it moot, so the Department of Justice filed request letters to the Supreme Court in all the cases related to the issue requesting they be dismissed.

New York City, San Francisco, as well as several states including California and New York were the localities involved in the three cases the SCOTUS ultimately dismissed.
The Democratic Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, issued a statement expressing her office’s pleasure that “despite the Trump administration’s attempts to exact revenge on cities and states through vindictive policies and continued litigation that we were able to work with the Biden administration to dismiss this case in the Supreme Court.”
“We look forward to continuing to work with the administration to ensure state and localities never have to choose between protecting their autonomy and protecting the public’s safety,” she declared.
