(Liberty Bell) – The hypocrisy and double standards of the left are never-ending. As a matter of fact, they’re probably the most consistent, reliable thing about the left.
When President Trump was in office, leftists had a meltdown over kids being kept in supposed “cages” along the southern border. Now, that very same detention facility has been reopened by Biden and the outrage is magically nonexistent.
Suddenly, no one cares about kids in “cages” anymore.
When President Trump ordered strikes in Syria in 2017 and 2018, the left was up in arms and completely indignant over it. It now, however, appears to be perfectly fine for Biden to do the same exact thing.
The BBC reports that Biden ordered a military airstrike on Iran-backed militias in Syria on Thursday “in response to attacks against US and coalition personnel in Iraq.”
“The Pentagon said the strike on Thursday was launched ‘at President Biden’s direction.’ It targeted facilities located at a border control point used by a number of Iran-backed militia groups, including Kataib Hezbollah and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada,” the British outlet reported.
“Kataib Hezbollah and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada have previously carried out or supported rocket attacks targeting US assets in the country,” the BBC noted.
One of the people who were publicly critical of President Trump’s airstrikes on Syria was current White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Now that Psaki is Biden’s mouthpiece it seems she has some explaining to do and those who are pointing out her hypocrisy come from both sides of the aisle.
On April 6, 2017, Psaki took to Twitter to ask, “what is the legal authority for strikes?” Going on to point out that “Assad is a brutal dictator. But Syria is a sovereign country.”
Also what is the legal authority for strikes? Assad is a brutal dictator. But Syria is a sovereign country.

Now a myriad of people on Twitter are looking back and pointing out Psaki’s glaring hypocrisy.
Both radical leftist Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and conservative activist Jack Posobiec shared Psaki’s 2017 tweet and commented, “Great question.” Anti-Islamist activist Brigitte Gabriel noted that Psaki’s tweet “didn’t age well,” and former New York State Assembly member Dov Hikind (D) said he was “in a sharing mood…”
Great question. https://t.co/79K8uyzwGi

Psaki took a massive amount of heat on Twitter over her 2017 tweet from everyone from Sebastian Gorka to leftist Time magazine editor-at-large Ian Bremmer.
However, Psaki wasn’t the only one who came under fire. Biden himself has been called out over a tweet he posted back in 2019 after a report circulated that Trump considered striking Iran after the regime took down a US drone over the Strait of Hormuz:
Trump’s erratic, impulsive actions are the last thing we need as Commander-in-Chief. No president should order a military strike without fully understanding the consequences. We don’t need another war in the Middle East, but Trump’s actions toward Iran only make that more likely.

Do tell us how that wisdom has changed?
Perhaps you & your comms chief @jrpsaki should revisit some of your old tweets during Trumps era & honour your own statements! https://t.co/LRmgX824nC— Hala Jaber (@HalaJaber) February 26, 2021
Thus spoke Biden in 2019.
“no president should order a military strike…”
What changed now that he’s Commander in Chief? https://t.co/eoUe3dMG4V

Someone should ask @PressSec her own question verbatim about Biden’s Syria bombing at tomorrow’s briefing (and while the context of her tweet was Trump’s bombing of Syrian forces, the question still applies): https://t.co/9ebYPywQPB

It’s absolutely remarkable how Democrats can govern with straight faces after all of their unhinged temper tantrums throughout President Trump’s first term in the White House.
Joe Biden hasn’t even been in office a full two months yet and he and his administration are making a complete mockery out of themselves.
While they demonized President Trump for this and that for four years, they’re doing many of the exact same things. Only now it’s them doing these things, so it’s OK. It’s justifiable. Right.
They’re nothing but a bunch of hypocrites and it’s pathetic.

We are living in the twilight zone, the hypocrisy is so loud that even a deaf person can hear it clearly
They are trying to gaslight us
Everyone is so worried about Biden (which they should be) but do they realize Kampala Harris is waiting in the wings salivating waiting to replace him.
How soon someone forgets. Now our “Fake” President Biden does exactly what he criticized President Trump for doing. Of course that is what you do when you should be in the old folks home taking your Ex Lax and removing your dentures. The Biden Presidency is already shaping up as one of the biggest disasters in American history. Eliminating jobs, rising oil prices are just starters. Let’s also remember granting amendyplus free health care to millions of illegal immigrants and raising our taxes. But there is a bright side in also making them registered voters so the “DEMOCROOKS” won’t have to steal so many votes next election. He eventually will have us in another war.
