(Liberty Bell) – True to the progressive movement’s goals of never wasting a crisis, former President Barack Obama has decided to use the coronavirus crisis as an opportunity to try and push for some of the left’s global warming alarmism in an effort to help the movement gain more power over the means of production.
However, it seems that there isn’t much support for this particular method of spreading a message, as the Internet took some big punches at Obama over his choice of tactics to bring awareness to this “issue.”
Again, this is a prime example of the left wanting to use a tragedy as a means of attempting to push their vision for our country through Congress as part of relief packages. It’s the same old song and dance the left has always given us in these times.
Here’s more from TheBlaze:
“We’ve seen all too terribly the consequences of those who denied warnings of a pandemic,” Obama tweeted. “We can’t afford any more consequences of climate denial.”
We've seen all too terribly the consequences of those who denied warnings of a pandemic. We can't afford any more consequences of climate denial. All of us, especially young people, have to demand better of our government at every level and vote this fall. https://t.co/K8Ucu7iVDK

“All of us, especially young people, have to demand better of our government at every level and vote this fall,” he concluded.
Obama’s attempts to hijack the coronavirus crisis did not go over well on social media. Here’s just a sample of some of the responses he received.
“Sorry, we’re working on a global pandemic right now, call back later,” responded Ben Shapiro.
“Talk about tone deaf,” said California lawmaker John Dennis.
“Dear Dumbo, Warmer temperatures slow the virus,” said Peabody-award winning actor Nick Searcy.
You might be wondering where in the world this particular strategy of co-opting crisis situations as means of passing legislation that would never see the light of day under normal circumstances started from.
It comes from a former Obama official named Rahm Emanuel, who recently reprised the saying as the coronavirus crisis exploded all over the world.
Here’s some more on this from the Washington Examiner:
The former Obama adviser reprised the quote he used during the 2008 financial crisis while speaking on ABC’s This Week on Sunday.
“Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” Emanuel said. “Start planning for the future. This has to be the last pandemic that creates an economic depression. We’re going to have more pandemics, but this has to be the last economic depression.”
Sen. Ted Cruz slammed Senate Democrats Monday, saying they are using Emanuel’s phrase to advance liberal agendas.
“The same quote from Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s chief of staff: ‘Never let a good crisis go to waste.’ Sadly, we’re seeing the embodiment of that cynical approach right now. Because all the people out of jobs, the Democrats are using to push — what are they pushing for? Changing the emission standards on airplanes,” the Texas Republican said.
There you have it, folks. Straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak. These people want nothing more than to radically transform this country into a socialist society and they will take whatever measures they deem necessary to accomplish the task.
Every crisis situation is a potential weapon in the hands of socialists, who could care less about the devastation left behind.
