(Liberty Bell) – Two months ago, a group of Democrat House members accused some of their Republican colleagues of giving “recon tours” to protesters involved in the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. However, in that time, these individuals have not produced one shred of evidence to back up that accusation. What gives?
According to a new report from BizPacReview, federal prosecutors are “requesting video” from authorities concerning this particular accusation. They say they are trying to figure out whether or not certain GOP members may have given tours prior to the riot.
The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia has decided to stick with this particular investigation into Republican House members. All the while Republicans are sounding the alarm and referring to these unsubstantiated claims as “dangerous.”
“There was never any name. There was never anyone who anyone saw do something to have the charge of basically running reconnaissance tours leveled against them,” said House Administration Committee ranking member Rep. Rodney Davis. “I think it’s part of the problem we have around here, that there will be accusations leveled and the media discusses those accusations but we don’t ask the simple question – who are they talking about? We can’t speculate because that’s a very dangerous place for anyone to be.”
Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is one of the individuals who is being accused of giving these tours. So far she’s denied the allegations.
All claims of my involvement with the attack on Jan. 6th are categorically false.
These lies are irresponsible & dangerous.
The left would like to bog my name down in conspiracies because they want to slow down my work for the people of CO-03.
I will continue on regardless.

The Democrats are not only deadset on nailing Boebert for this, they also have their sights trained on Reps. Mo Brooks and Paul Gosar. Rep. Tim Ryan, a Democrat and chairman of the House subcommittee with oversight authority over the Capitol Police, spoke to the media in February and stated the case was “in the hands of the U.S. Attorney here in D.C….They are reviewing the footage.”
The allegations first came about in January when Rep Mikie Sherrill said, “I also intend to see that those members of Congress who abetted him, those members of Congress who had groups coming through the capitol that I saw on Jan. 5 for reconnaissance for the next day. Those members of Congress who incited the violent crowd. Those members of Congress that attempted to help our president undermine our democracy, I’m going see that they’re held accountable.”
Not long after this, other House Democrats joined in and demanded an immediate investigation into what they referred to as “suspicious behavior” and access they claim was given to visitors to the Capitol just before the riot. A total of 34 Democrats have called upon the Capitol Police and the acting House and Senate sergeants-at-arms in a recent letter to investigate the situation.
“The visitors encountered by some of the members of Congress on this letter appeared to be associated with the rally at the White House the following day,” the letter said. “Members of the group that attacked the Capitol seemed to have an unusually detailed knowledge of the layout of the Capitol Complex. The presence of these groups within the Capitol Complex was indeed suspicious.”

Folks, this is just another attempt by radical leftists to find some way to punish conservatives who dared to support former President Donald Trump. They want to show a use of force that will scare other conservatives out of standing up strong and tall against their insanity.
