(Liberty Bell) – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was the breakout star of the 2018 election and, it appears, she’s not going anywhere.
Ironically, as this radical progressive unseat the establishment Democrat whose seat she managed to steal by ousting him in her party primary, is well on her way to be part of the party’s new establishment.
The radical progressive establishment.
Which will be in place, it appears, of at least two more years.
On Tuesday evening, AOC sailed to victory in New York’s 14th Congressional District for a second time as projected by NBC News.
She had plenty of challengers and beat them all out, the last of which was Republican John Cummings, a retired NYPD cop and high school civics teacher from The Bronx who was vying for her seat.

AOC has been given credit by many for being the thought leader of the new Democrat Party, along with her fellow “Squad” members, Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.
Of course, she was a 29-year-old bartender when she got elected, to give you an idea about the direction this “thought leader” is taking her party.
When I was a NYPD cop we kept the peace. @AOC wants to defund the police… are you kidding me? Let’s defund AOC. I’m going to win this race! Watch our TV ad and please donate today! https://t.co/xV2woDeFjm pic.twitter.com/wxQx112KVK
