(Liberty Bell) – If the Democrat Party was so successful in the 2020 election, why on earth are they going to such great lengths to silence the party they supposedly defeated so completely?
They have the majority vote in both chambers of Congress and apparently, thanks to a highly suspect election, the White House.
Yet they are lashing out at House Republicans who supported POTUS ahead of last week’s vote certification which was quickly overshadowed by the violence as the Capitol Building was breached by protesters.
Fox News reporter Chad Pergram said that as Reps. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) and Mo Brooks (R-AL) are the subject of censure plans on the part of House Democrats, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) may also find himself the subject of such a resolution in the days ahead.
1) Senior Democratic lawmakers tell Fox to expect a censure resolution in the House in the coming days for Reps. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and Mo Brooks (R-AL). Fox is told there could also be consequences for Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

In Silicon Valley, the Tech Tyrants lashed out at President Donald Trump over the weekend also citing the Capitol Hill violence, for which neither he nor his congressional allies played a role in inciting.
It is a sick and twisted game the left is playing by claiming that because Trump and his supporters believe the election was stolen, that they are responsible for people who decide to react with violence because they also believe such a claim.
If that is the case, there are hundreds of Democrat politicians who have a lot of explaining to do about the billions of dollars in damage, dozens of lives lost, and communities torn apart by the Black Lives Matter riots of summer 2020.
Fox News also reported that, in the Senate, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) has called for Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), and potentially others, to be expelled for objecting to the electoral vote totals during last week’s joint session.
“Because Congress has protections from the Department of Justice under separation of powers, specifically the Speech and Debate Clause, significant investigation will need to be done in the Senate,” Whitehouse declared.
“Because of massive potential conflict of interest, Senators Cruz, Hawley, and Johnson (at least) need to be off all relevant committees reviewing this matter until the investigation of their role is complete.”
Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Patty Murray (D-WA), and Chris Coons (D-DE) have also made similar calls.
Both Hawley and Cruz, of course, also condemned the violence against the Capitol Building as a “terrorist attack.”
The newly-minted “Squad” member Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) has already proposed a resolution to expel GOP colleagues over last week’s events.
“The actions of the Republican lawmakers who tried to overturn the valid results of the 2020 elections must not only be condemned in the strongest possible terms, but I believe the members who attempted to disenfranchise voters and incited this violence must be removed from Congress,” she said.
