Democrats Already Looking For Other Ways To Prevent Trump From Being Re-Elected If Impeachment Fails

(Liberty Bell) – It’s the impeachment attempt so pathetic, so baseless, so clearly politically motivated and driven by sheer hatred, spite, and fear that they’ve already got a backup plan before they’ve even launched the trial.

I think the full weight of what the Democrats look like now that they’ve gotten Trump out of the picture is starting to hit them like a ton of bricks.

After all… who honestly believes they honestly won control of the White House and Senate, anyway?

Only those in complete denial of the truth.

Infowars reports that Senate Democrats are now discussing how to use the 14th Amendment to prevent President Trump from ever holding office again if they fail to successfully impeach him, which is to be expected as it’s not even constitutional or precedented for a president to be impeached after he left office.

If this guy is so bad for the country, why not simply let the voters decide in four years if he should run it again or not?

While the Senate impeachment trial has now been scheduled for February, Democrat leaders in the upper chamber are already mulling over a backup plan, The Hill reports.

“It’s an idea that’s out there that I think people are contemplating in the accountability space,” Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) said on Friday.

“I just want us to choose a path that maximizes focus on the Biden-Harris agenda,” he added.

He’s one to talk about accountability, having been running mate to a woman who deleted tens of thousands of classified emails she’d conveyed on a private server as part of what has long been alleged was a very crooked pay-for-play scheme with our foreign adversaries.

And let’s not even get started on the degree of corruption the Biden-Harris ticket stood accused of during their presidential bid in 2020.

Senate Judiciary Committee member Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) pointed to the 14th Amendment as an “appropriate” way to prevent Trump from holding office again.

“The remedies of the 14th Amendment certainly may be appropriate for someone who incites an insurrection as Donald Trump did,” Blumenthal said.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) also pointed to the 14th Amendment as a “possibility” to use against Trump.

“All of these are questions of first impression, in terms of constitutionality,” Murphy said. “I certainly think there is a 14th Amendment avenue separate and aside from impeachment.”

The Democrats have accused Trump of inciting an “insurrection” in the Capitol Building on January 6th after a group of protesters breached the premises as he was giving a speech two miles away.

Infowars explains that “Section 3 of the 14th Amendment says that no public officials who had ‘previously taken an oath’ to support the Constitution can hold office if they ‘have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.’”

Before Trump left office, the Democrats demanded that Vice President Mike Pence invoke the 25th Amendment against him, something they’ve long been trying to pull to no avail.

  1. I wish Rep. Cicilline would concern himself with getting more vaccines delivered to his home state (RI).
No one over 75 has received a vaccine unless they reside in a nursing home.
seniors who live at home are left waiting while vaccines are delivered to the young in inner cities. RI even had a plan to vaccinate children (on whom the vaccine has not been tested). 98% of RI deaths were persons over age 50 yet the state continues to ignore this population.
Rep. Cicilline should address the needs of his own state before wasting our time and money on this Unconstitutional action against a private citizen.

  2. Trump needs to file lawsuits against every one of these criminal politicians for defamation of his character and jail sentences met!
